3 July 2009, British Standards Institution (BSI) has recently signed Carbon Reduction Charter of Environmental Protection Department as a Green Partner and strongly encourages its clients, partners and the wider business community to do the same and take an active role in combating climate change and reducing greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions.
As the national standard and professional certification body, BSI provides green related services to support local developments, which include:
- Development of international best practices relating to environmental managements;
- Greenhouse (GHG) related trainings;
- Carbon Footprint Audit and Energy Efficiency Management; and
- Public green awareness seminars.
As a signatory to the Carbon Reduction Charter, BSI can proudly display the Carbon Reduction Charter logo on its publications to promote its commitment to reducing emissions.
